is drinking too much coffee and tea a barrier to weight loss?

I drink hot drinks (coffee and tea almost constantly) and occasionaly juice but not much else is this stopping me from loosing wieght?
I should say I doint have sugar and only a little semi skimmed milk .

    Black tea & coffee have very few calories & act as a diuretic, so I would have thought they could help weight loss. If you are drinking more than half a pint of milk a day in your hot drinks, that may be slowing down your weight loss. Use skimmed or semi-skimmed milk. Juice is high in calories, so its better (and more satisfying) to eat the actual fruit instead. Drink water if you feel hungry.

    It depends if you take your hot drinks with milk and/or sugar. If you have sugar and you are drinking alot this could stop you from loosing weight, as could drinking your drinks with full fat milk. On the other hand, both these type of drinks contain caffiene which is actually meant to help you loose weight!. So perhaps if you do take milk, cut down to skimmed, and if you take sugar, replace it with sweetners. That way drinking hot drinks should’nt be a barrier to weight loss. Try to drink lots of water also, particularly with coffe drinking as it will help flush out toxins. Good luck!

    i would look more into what you are eating than what you are drinking since it doesn’t sound like your choice of drinks are high in calories…Also look at your physical activity and analyze if you are getting enough exercise. Sorry but No, I don’t think tea and coffee is a barrier to your weight loss.
