How has Mark Hughes survived this long…..?

…. surely he’s the Gordon Brown of football… just a few more losses and he’s a goner..☺
Karthi: there is no comparison between Huges and SAF… Fergie HAD already proved himself by winning in Scotland and Europe before joining Man Utd
Michael: I actually agree with you .. I think MH should be given ALL THE TIME he needs…no matter how long that is… but i bet there will be an improvement next season.. maybe top 6 at best

    I really doubt that mate..He has done really well with Blackburn. He inherited a very unbalanced squad and this summer he is getting the player’s he needs.I wont be surprised if they finished TOp6 next season.

    Remember Saf wasn’t born with a golden touch ☺ He went through a tough patch too

    Edit: Well he was sacked from St Mirren and since then he did a good job. lol

    I’ve never understood how a club that can pay a squillion quid for a player doesn’t go out and get a world class manager.

    I think Mark Hughes has done a fine job at Man City, he is slowly making his stamp on the squad, by bringing in the players he wants, the squad was very unbalanced when he took over but he has managed the best he can and has bought stability to the squad.
    Very unlikely he would lose his job, I see a top 6 finish at the least for Man City next season.
