Drinking Slim Fast Milkshakes as apart of my weight gaining meal?




Could it be a cheaper alternative to drink Slim-Fast milkshakes to gain weight and so build up a bit of mass?

As far as I can tell it only works as a weight loss drink if you follow a balanced low fat low calorie diet. But im sure that if you do the opposite and eat a big calorie meal + slim fast it should work?

I thought i would try slim fast, just to shift a couple of pounds to help my diet. The slim fast shake i have has 217 calories. But usually i have ready break which is 104 calories and im not sure how many it is with the added milk but its not as much as 217 calories.
So i was wondering why is slim fast 217 calories and most breakfast cerals are much less. How dose slim fast work. And is it worth it or not??

    Slim fast works by reducing your total daily intake of calories while ensuring you receive enough nutrition. I would suggest that the breakfast shake, while it has more calories probably also has more vitamins and minerals.

    However, eating sensibly with a balanced diet will produce the same results, so it’s probably not worth it.

    i’d suggest weight watchers… slim fast is a quick fix and you wont keep it off

    slim fast diet only works if you do it properly. i am on it at present and to make it work you have to do the following:

    have a shake for breakfast roughly 200-220 calories
    have a shake or soup for lunch roughly 200-220 caloriesmake yourself a 600 calorie meal in the evening

    you can also snack on fruit throughout the day or allow yourself 2/3 100calorie snacks throughout the day.

    the slimfast diet only works if you stick to it. its not something you add into your diet.
