How long before i see results if working out and drinking protein shakes to tone?

How long is it going to take to see results in my legs, hamstring and abdominal area if im working out 3-4 times a day, eating healthy and drinking protein shakes?

my new diet consists of whole grain foods such as nutri-grain bars or whole wheat subs, salads, chicken breast, lean meat, and some veggies along with protein shakes…

Also how and when is the best time to drink the protein shakes?
i meant 3-4 times a week! sorry

First, if you are working out 3-4 time a DAY than you won’t see any results soon. An essential part of working out is REST! You must rest your muscle so they can repair themselves. If your muscles don’t repair themselves then they can’t do more reps later on. You should search online or talk to a personal trainer about a workout routine. In short, your workout should be low weight and high reps. A good personal trainer can gear a workout to fit exactly what you want.

Second, I’ve gotten consumed in protein shakes, however the most important thing that you are drinking is water. If you want to tone I would trade water for protein shakes (I would have never said that before studying for my personal training license) It looks like you are getting enough protein from your diet.

Last, if you want to tone make sure you do Cardio Cardio Cardio! Hopefully, you don’t hate cardio like some people, but it’s the best thing you can do in my opinion…and it’s free.

Everyone is different, but I think you can see results within a month if you work out 3-4 times a WEEK, include cardio and continue your diet. Email if you have questions.
